INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING: This listing includes an 8 page PDF that has instructions + includes the chart (shown), a sheet of letters for adding your child's name to the chart and 4 sheets of colored job icons. In addition to the PDF, each sheet is also included in JPEG format for photo printing at your favorite photo lab. The chart comes in 3 sizes (5x7, 8x10 and 11x14) + the letter sheet and job icons are also formatted as 8x10's for convenient photo printing.

TIPS FOR THE CHART: Chose the chart size that works best for you (5x7, 8x10 or 11x14). Print and laminate, then display on your fridge or a magnet board. Or... laminate, remove glass from a frame and put a sheet of metal behind the print to make it magnetic (magnetic sheet metal can be found at most hardware stores).

HOW TO MAKE YOUR JOB MAGNETS: 49 (1") job icons are included in a variety of matching colors. Choose the icons you want to use and punch them with a 1" craft punch. Next either laminate and attach a magnet to the back - or they are perfectly sized for making bottle cap magnets! I use epoxy stickers, flattened bottle caps from Fizzy Pops (link below) and E6000 glue to attach a magnet (see images for a picture tutorial). Blank job icons are also included; using a PDF Editor or the "add comment" function on Adobe Reader you can add your own text or simply write in special jobs with a white ink marker. Take care when using magnets with young toddlers/children.

HOW TO PERSONALIZE: Included in your kit is a sheet of letter "flags". Print as recommended below - then simply trim and laminate the letters you need to spell your child's name! I recommend attaching these to your chart with double stick foam squares - this will "lift" the letters off the chart adding some fun dimension! You can also simply glue them to the chart before laminating. The same letters are used on all 3 charts - the 5x7 can hold up to 5 letters, the 8x10 can hold up to 8 letters and the 11x14 can hold up to 10 letters. Two cute little circle accents are also included and are optional, see graphic for suggested placement.

GENERAL PRINT RECOMMENDATIONS: If printing at home, for best results always use a glossy finish paper and set your printer to it's best quality print setting. You can also save your files to a flash drive and have the PDF printed at your local copy shop. OR... you can order your JPEGS as photo prints from a photo lab just like you would any photo.
