I've got a SUPER fun, very intuitive new way to plan my menus and it's working so well! With this board, you use the category magnets as meal prompts to help you plan your menu. And... with nearly 80 categories to choose from - it's a fun way to get you thinking outside your routine! The magnet prompts range from all types of international cuisine to meats to basic recipe entree categories (like soup, pasta, etc)... all the way to fun ones like "Dad's Night" - "Mom's Night Off" - "Leftovers" - "Pinterest Recipe" - "Take Out" - "Date Night" and more! There are 79 to choose from... just make up the ones that fit your family's palate! For example, of the whole set... I made up 39 for our family to use.

This listing includes one PDF (that contains the menu board + 3 sets of 1" round meal prompts) as well as zip file that includes seven 8x10 JPEG images of the board and magnets for high-quality photo printing if you prefer.

PRINTING & USE TIPS:
For best results, use the JPEG Images and print them at your favorite photo lab. Laminate the weekly planner and either mount on a magnetic board with a frame (like shown) or simply use on your fridge! After creating your magnets (instructions/tips below)... you simply select your categories/magnets for the week, then fill in your dinners with a dry or wet erase marker.

TIPS MAKING YOUR MAGNETS...

★ EASIEST: Print, punch with 1" round punch, laminate and attach magnet to the back

★ GLASS MARBLES: Print, punch with 1" round punch, using ModPodge attach to 1" flat glass marbles (found at the dollar store or a craft store) and attach magnet to the back.

★ BOTTLE CAPS: (shown, see image #4) I printed, punched the ones I wanted with a 1" round punch... then mounted on 1" round Epoxy Stickers (found on Amazon). Then, I used E6000 glue to attach the magnets and the sticker to the bottle cap. Use care with this glue, fumes are strong and it takes about 24 hours to cure. This is probably the most expensive option for your board, but very durable and VERY darling!

★★★ Don't be overwhelmed with all of the magnets... I made a huge collection so there was a vast variety for everyone to choose from. Simply make up the ones you'll use. When I made mine, I did a variety of all three colors... you could also just stick to one color for more uniformity.

FAMILY TIPS: Let your kids help you by letting them choose some of the magnets! Other fun magnets include "Birthday" - "Special Occasion" and "Holiday"!

So Flexible

I ordered the Menu Planning Board to help me prepare for my week ahead, and make my life easier. I am very happy with the beautiful quality that once again My Computer is My Canvas did. I love the flexibility in using this printable, to suit my individual needs.

Beautiful Menu Planner and Board, But----

I loved your planner and weekly boards, but I am not sure that I can use them as I need a little more info to really make my menu board work for me. I am going to keep them because they are really gorgeous, but I am still trying to figure out how to put the ingredients for the recipes I use with each dish onto cards so I don't have to get out the cookbooks each time I go to the grocery store. If you have any ideas about that, please help. Also, I didn't understand about how to get the files to a print shop if I want to enlarge them ( I am REALLY technologically challenged). Thank you so much for any help or suggestions you can give me!
